Wesleyan House Reviews

Denise
We enjoyed our stay at Wesleyan House. Lovely and clean accommodation, ideal for a family or two couples. While Gobowen is not terrifically picturesque, it is very friendly and convenient for visiting Shropshire and North Wales by car and train. The property has a nearby coop and a pub no food, with three or four takeaways so you wont starve. Oswestry is a short drive away and a lovely market town. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. Would recommend.
A friendly welcome, a beautiful conversion, spacious and well eqipped. Parking fine for the three cars we came in. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in Shropshire.
Wesleyan House was fantastic and it was such an ideal place for my little family gathering. Karen and Eric have ensured that all those helpful little extras are there in the kitchen. The building has a wow factor and we really enjoyed staying and would have like to been there for longer! In Gobowen, you are ideally situated for Oswestry, Shrewsbury and the gorgeous Llangollen and beyond, with railway station 5 minutes away.

Another successful holiday let. Cottage was very accurately listed so we found it as expected. Communication with the owner was very good with quick response time.
Wesleyan House was gorgeous with high quality furniture and fittings. We were visiting with family including grandchildren and it was a perfect layout for our needs with its downstairs bedroom. It is also equipped with books and games although we didnt personally have time to use them. We felt it was ideally situated for travel to nearby Oswestry by bus and rail travel to Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Chester and beyond. By car the nearby Ironworks was well worth a visit. Amenities we used in the village were the Coop, Pub and Fish and Chip Shop.

Wesleyan House is a most delightful conversion. Spacious, comfortable, with modern equipment throughout. It is very conveniently situated for major road networks to enable one to visit many places of interest. A happy time was had by all of us. Thank you Karen and Eric.
Lovely building beautifully presented three minute walk from Gobowen Railway Station, local bus services and well stocked friendly Coop. Four good sized bedrooms one downstairs next to the downstairs shower room. King sized bedroom on first floor has an en suite. Also on first floor there are two further bedrooms one double and one twin and a good sized family bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with pans cutlery etc. There is a good sized dining table and a lovely tv area with two comfy sofas. The only quibble i had was the curtains in my room where not black out and let a lot of light in.
Beverley
Wesleyan House is a stunning property and in a very short walk to the railway station from where we could travel very easily to lots of lovely places, i. E. Ludlow, Church Stretton, Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Chester and much much more. The caretakers owners of the are only next door and were very helpful when we had a few minor issues with learning how to use the super cooker etc. The weather was awful most days but I am afraid nobody can organise that but we did get out every day either on the train or driving to Oswestry and to Llangollen and the wonderful viaduct. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday and would love to return there if possible. Thank you
We had a great stay at wesleyan house. Had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, loved the open plan layout of downstairs. Lovely owners. Right down the road from the coop chippy, pub and other takeaways. Would recommend.
Wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Can't fault it. Thank you!
Judith
A really lovely house with very kind hosts.
This is a beautiful, immaculate property that is very well equipped. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with owners is easy with very quick responses. Quiet location yet only 2 mins walk to shops and carryouts. Highly recommend.
Andrew
A wonderful property Everything you need Thank you
We a mixed group of adults and teens absolutely LOVED Wesleyan House. It was really spacious with everything you needed and all of high quality. The outside area is a real suntrap and handy as next to the kitchen for drinkssnacks. The private parking space is a bit tight and I think a SUV would struggle HOWEVER there is plenty of fee parking literally opposite the front door. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and hope to return again one day. Thank you so much for a memorable stay.
