Stud Farm House Reviews

Jonathan
We recently stayed at The Stud Farm for an 80th Birthday celebration. We needed 9 bedrooms with different configurations and this fitted the bill. There were 4 generations, 5 adults and 6 kids and there was something for everyone. The accommodation was spotless and at no point over the weekend did we find anything lacking. A beautiful location, would highly recommend for a large gathering. Jonathan & Sally Smith.
Stud Farm is just beautiful the photos don't do it justice. Its is so big there is plenty of personal space should you want it. Each of the bedrooms is beautifully decorated and the living space is well appointed and nicely furnished. The poolgames room is a fantastic space to gather and the kids were almost always to be found in the enormous and immaculate hot tub. There is plenty of parking and storage space. A couple of minor points a brief handbook would be helpful what to do the landfillrecycling and any hot tub maintenance for example. We found one bedroom the lower ground floor one difficult to keep warm Feb visit and the shower in master bedroom difficult to regulate the temperature. Overall it was just brilliant and we are already looking for a date to return next year. Thank you.
Great time at the Farm House. Beautiful building, lovely and clean. Great bedrooms, with quality fittings and linens. Loads of room to gather together,or take yourself off for quiet time. Gallery landing space huge and great for an afternoon nap! Local town 15 mins away with pubs, takeaways etc. Hot tub huge! Highly recommend for a great getaway.
Amazing house, with great rooms and by far the best hot tub I've ever seen part swimming pool! Host left us to our own devices, but was great when we needed them, replacing a broken fridge in just 2 days. We were left with coffeeteamilk and some welcome treats on arrival which was a nice touch.
Natasha
On arrival the house was absolutely beautiful. Everything we needed. However for the size of the house the lack of bathrooms was a issue. Given the high spec and the price we paid for the property there was no welcome booklet or welcome pack, not even a pint of milk considering such a late check in and it was nearly dark! The dining table is ridiculously wide which ment sitting for a family meal or playing family games was nearly impossible as everyone was too far away. There were no placemats for meals, so you spent the whole time worrying about marking the table. There were no oven gloves so using teatowels was the only option. Took us far too long to find any glasses or crockery as they were all stored in the dining room when actually the kitchen cupboards were totally empty. There were no instructions as to where to put bins or recycling so everything went in black bags. The unreasonable time of check in 5pm and checkout by 10am ment we lost a full day of our holiday. This really did ruin it as we had family come from all over the UK including Scotland so to loose that day was very disappointing.

Spacious farm house with beautiful views all around. On our first night we didn't know how to turn heating on, but a member of owner's family came up and sorted it for us quickly. Definitely recommended
Angela
Stud Farm House is amazing! We had a 60th Birthday weekend with guests ranging in age from 6 to 84 and everyone loved it. The rooms were comfortable and spacious even with a big group of people inside. The hot tub and snooker table went down well and having a seating area upstairs meant there were plenty of places to relax. The only issues were really minor we couldn't find any coastersplacemats to use so we ended up making our own out of cardboard to protect the tables and we didn't get guidance re recycling or what to do with beddingtowels at the end of our stay. As I said, really minor issues that didn't detract from a really enjoyable stay. The grandchildren have asked if we can stay again next year!
Tommee
The property was amazing, it is in the most beautiful location. The amenities are suburb and it has everything you need. The house is even better than the pictures, I could not recommend this place enough and will adding it back on my list again.
Nikita
We had a wonderful stay as 18 of us at Stud Farm! We are eagerly looking to rebook again when we can all finally catch up! Beautiful location and a breathtaking home!
Samantha
Property was lovely, plenty big enough for us all. I would highly recommend the property for anyone considering it. Pros Comfortable beds and bedding Welcoming environment Lots of outdoor space Quiet location Facilities are incredible, with a huge hot tub, big tvs and plenty of seating Cons Lots of flies though it is a farm and summer so b understandable Back patio door didnt lock Master room bedside plugs didnt work One half of the oven didnt seem to work but that could have been user error No welcome book stating any requirements or rules or contact numbers or things to do in the area etc
