1 Little Broomcroft Reviews

We booked 1 Little Broomcroft for a rare family gettogether and this fabulous property truly had something for everyone. The private woodland added a touch of magic for our toddler grandson who was sure a rabbit hole contained a tiny dinosaur and our active granddaughter spent many happy hours bouncing on the excellent trampoline. There were interesting books everywhere to tempt the adults, the beds and facilities were great but the real winner was the amazing outlook and sense of space and peace. Perfect!
A lovely house with beautiful views. As a family of 10 we found the property very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Phil and Amy were great in providing us with all the information we needed to enhance our stay and left a lovely welcome basket on our arrival. We enjoyed visiting the local area and our grandson enjoyed exploring the wooded area.
Little Broomcroft was a perfect venue for our family pre Christmas get together. The photos could not do justice to the degree of care and love that has been put in to making this an amazing place to spend time with those you love. Warm, spacious, well designed, great cinema room, the wooded area, a kitchen to die for. I could be tempted to move in!
Nicholas
We had such a great time. 1 Little Broomcroft is a lovely house and was ideal for our stay. Its in such a nice setting and the house is so well equipped. On top of that, Amy and Phil were brilliant hosts communicative and helpful.
Absolutely stunning accommodation. The views are incredible. You dont need to take anything apart from clothes with you, everything is provided. A great place to stay with every age group, I am 83 and our grandchildren are age 10. We had our own forest for outdoor space, there is also a patio and garden for summer. We went in October and the countryside in autumn was beautiful. Plenty of places to visit, the girls went horse riding and gocarting and we all went to a pottery class. All in all magnificent. I must say the owners were most helpful as well.
Gorgeous views, beautiful place and very peaceful
Harriet
The house has every comfort as well as outstanding views, lovely woodland gardens, and helpful attentive hosts. We had a great holiday at a memorable location.
We booked here as it appeared suitable for a multi generation holiday, the first time our daughters have been together for five years. Three daughters, partners plus baby. It was the perfect home for us all. Plenty of space, very peaceful, beautiful location, lovely views, amazing house. Owners very helpful. Plenty to do around the area for us all with walks, National Trust, Ironbridge and surrounding places of interest. Shrewsbury kept the shoppers happy. All in all a very happy visit, thanks so much.

We had the most wonderful time at Little Broomcroft, so much so, we did not want to return home after one week and could of stayed on for a further week, at least. The property is truly amazing spotlessly clean, spacious and rather grand, with all mod cons, extremely comfortable throughout and the owners, Amy and Phil, have thought of everything. The communications with them were spot on, they were helpful, kind and informative without being excessive just perfect! Little Broomcroft is in a such a beautiful, idyllic location, we only felt it necessary to venture out a few times as it is the perfect place to enjoy our wonderful English countryside and properly relax and unwind we were even really lucky with the weather too which was a bonus. The art and books all round the property are super interesting and I rediscovered my love of reading whilst there. There were two of us that went for the whole week, with our two dogs, we were then joined by my adult daughter who came and stayed for 4 nights and my parents and two other family members came for just 2 nights. There was ample room for everyone, with every bedroom having ensuite facilities and it is the perfect place to make wonderful, ever lasting family memories. We would most definitely recommend Little Broomcroft and hope to return ourselves, at some point in the future.

This was our first visit to Shropshire and we couldn't have chosen a better base for our holiday. 1 Little Broomcroft was a perfect sanctuary to rest and recharge our batteries after a day of exploring the many sites and activities in the local area. These included Wroxeter Roman Town, The Blist Hill 'living museum' nr Ironbridge, Ironbridge itself and Bridgnorth. The accommodation had everything you needed and more to ensure a wonderful holiday. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of games and books to keep you entertained as well as the cinema room.!! Outside, the wood was a safe environment to walk the dog with views of the Wrekin. There were bridleways close by with great views of Wenlock Edge and plenty of walks along the Edge. On an evening we enjoyed watching the moon rise above the Edge while also keeping an eye on the local wildlife which included deer and buzzards. Much Wenlock, the nearest town, had a fantastic bakers and Chinese Takeaway. The George and Dragon pub served very tasty meals. Another hostelry worth visiting was The Riverside Inn at Cound. A very big thank you to Amy and Phil for providing information and videos prior to our stay, for how the Cooker, blinds and lighting worked. This ensured we could settle and relax into the accommodation on arrival. We highly recommend Little Broomcroft and would definitely stay there again without hesitation.
Maggie
The property was beautiful, extremely clean, well maintained, with a lovely welcoming basket! The support of the owners was exceptional, promptly answering any queries that we had.
The house, garden and adjoining woodland were all fantastic and perfect for our family get together. Before our stay we were provided with clear instructionsguides on everything which made things easier. During our stay the owners got in touch via message to check if everything was ok but then left us to it. There was plenty of crockerycooking gear which is sometimes lacking at holiday rentals. Lots of interesting books and artwork knocking about. The views were also fantastic from the house and the kids loved the slackline in the woods. We'd have no hesitation booking again if we were staying in the area.
This is a stunning property with superb views and everything you could want for in the way of comfort and fitted out with top of the range furnishings and appliances. We had a very relaxed week with friends and family and all could quite easily have never moved from the property. However exploring the local area is a must with visits to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and Much Wenlock with its superb pie shop high on the list. We had two dogs with us who loved the small enclosed wood and we found many local walks to enjoy. Thank you Phil and Amy for a great week. Martin, Denise and family.
Excellent property with stunning views
Michael
Fabulous property. Very comfortable and well equipped, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Slight downside was that one of the bedrooms seemed retain an excessive amount of heat, causing discomfort and disturbed sleep. In addition there were no safety gates at the stairs which caused us a problem as we had a toddler with us. I spoke to the owner, who acknowledged both issues and assured me that steps will be taken to rectify them. Overall we had a great stay at a luxurious property.

Very secure for your pets and if you have young children. Front garden is open but plenty of play space in back garden and woodlands. Phil and Amy were wonderful hosts. Jacqueline
Beautiful new holiday home, extremely modern, warm, comfortable and well equipped. The design of the barn conversion worked very well for our family celebration. The views from the walls of glass are outstanding and were a big feature of the stay.

Lovely property, well located in the countryside just like we wanted. The house is beautifully presented and was ample for our group of 10 to enjoy the time together but also space enough to enjoy some solo time if needed. The views across the fields around are inspiring and the amenities within the property are perfect for large groups. Amy and Phil are excellent hosts from the beginning of our booking all the way through until we checked out. They provided excellent recommendations of places to visit in the local area whilst also ensuring all our needs were met for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wishing to have a retreat away from daily life to be able to breathe and refresh! It truly is an inspiring property with care and attention to every detail being thought out by the owners. Thank you so much for the stay and we look forward to returning again sometime in the future!
We recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at 1 Little Broomcroft in Kenley, Shropshire, from 28th December to 1st January. Our group of five adults and five children came for a retreat to savour the Chrimbo Limbo periodrelaxing, eating, drinking, walking, and playing games. This home was nothing short of exceptional, exceeding our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Amy and Phil, the wonderful and attentive hosts, had put incredible thought and care into every detail. They were always available to answer questions, making sure everything was perfect for our stay, which made us feel truly welcome. This house is so much more than just a rental it feels like a home that has been designed with love, personality, and care. The carefully curated artwork, extensive book collection, and impeccable dcor create an atmosphere that is both luxurious and deeply homely. Its a place where you immediately feel at ease, trusted with a space that has been created for enjoyment and comfort. A standout feature for us was the stunning drawing room. With its elevated views and a fully retractable glass exterior wall, it was a truly special place to spend time. Even in December, we were lucky enough to have some morning sunshine, and sitting there with a coffee, feeling like we were outside while still enjoying the warmth of the house, was a highlight of our stay. The clever interior glass dividing wall meant that the upper floor could be configured in different ways, making the space versatileopenplan when you want it to be, or offering some sectionedoff privacy when needed. Beyond the aesthetic charm, the house is also brilliantly equipped. The kitchen is fully stocked, the appliances are highend, and the smart home featuresincluding Alexacontrolled lighting and blindswere fantastic. Everything worked flawlessly, and the techsavvy design added a real sense of modern convenience without ever feeling intrusive. The kids absolutely loved the cinema room, which became their hideaway for much of the stay, while the expansive grounds were a paradise for both them and our dogs. With ample parking and plenty of wonderful places to explore nearby, we made the most of the local area, including a fantastic afternoon in Much Wenlock. That said, there was plenty to do without even leaving the house, making it the perfect retreat for both adventure and relaxation. In summary, 1 Little Broomcroft is a truly exceptional placea luxurious, welcoming, and meticulously designed home that we would return to in a heartbeat. Amy and Phil have created something really special, and we feel privileged to have experienced it. We cant wait to come back one day!
We had an amazing stay over Christmas at Little Broomcroft. The property is stunning, as is the setting panoramic views of the local countryside from the open plan kitchen and living area upstairs is something specialespecially watching the sun rise in the morning! The level of tech in the house is incredible. Despite the fairly remote location the WiFi is excellent, there is also voice activated lightning and a kitchen with extremely high spec appliances it made catering for large numbers we had 9 for Christmas dinner an easy and pleasurable experience. The cinema room downstairs is also a real treat 4K projector with SkyTV & surround sound ideal for a movie or an afternoon watching the football! There are also lots of board games and interesting books to look through, plus an Xbox and a trampoline outside for the kids! The rooms are all very spacious and really comfortable. The general feel of the place is very cozy and warm which really helps to make it a very relaxing and calm experience. Phil and Amy the property owners looked after us brilliantly throughout our stay. They were always on hand to answer any questions about the property and set it up as we wanted it before our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend a stay at Little Broomcroft. Its the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway with family and friends in a truly stunning location.
